53,097 search visits a month, down 37% in a year, 64 in 100 of the traced visits from the brand's own name. First for 73 of 95 brand searches and for no buying search; three of the four we read show the homepage, not the collection page. Five moves, in order.

The short version. Montigo's name does the work: the site is first on Google for 73 of the 95 searches that carry it. No buying search ranks first, and on three of the four we read, Google shows the homepage rather than the collection page built for the job. Search visits fell 37% in a year, to 53,097 a month, and the number of different searches the site appears for fell from 61,705 in November 2025 to 4,431 in August 2026. The tumbler page sells the Roamer from RM119 to RM169; for 'tumbler malaysia', Google shows the homepage instead.
Public data only, without the brand's involvement: what shoppers type, what the search page shows, what the AI answers say and what the store's own pages say. Search volumes and click costs are twelve-month averages for Malaysia; positions were read on 5 and 6 September 2026 in Google Malaysia. The traffic line runs September 2024 to August 2026, all countries; about nine in ten of the visits are Malaysia. Everything here will drift as the pages change.
Three blocks of search demand surround this store. Brand searches: 48,820 a month over 95 terms carrying the name, bringing 15,717 traced visits. Category searches the site already ranks for: 17,800 a month over 20 terms, bringing 3,375 traced visits. And a block most stores do not have: 5,491 traced visits a month land on the travel blog, the Miffy, Disney and Peanuts collections and the gift pages, across 643 terms, more than every category page together brings.
'montigo near me' alone is 5,400 searches a month and 'montigo tumbler' 3,600; the site ranks first for both. The travel blog accounts for 5,352 of those traced visits a month; every category page together brings 3,375.
Shoppers search for bottles, tumblers and cups without a brand name 18,620 times a month across the searches we read. 39 of the 64 questions people type ask which one to buy or whether it is safe: 'coffee tumbler vs travel mug', 'are insulated water bottles safe', 'which insulated water bottles have lead'. The blog's one buying guide, 'Types of water bottles', answers none of them; 35 of the site's 37 posts are travel and cafe guides.
Almost nobody types a rival's name here. 2,560 searches a month carry another brand's name, against 19,320 that carry none.
Google's own question under 'tumbler' is 'What is the best tumbler brand in Malaysia?', and beneath it sits 'Is Montigo a Malaysian brand?'. No Montigo page answers either in words. Google's AI answer puts Montigo first for tumblers and water bottles; the chat AIs do not, naming it second and third in two of the five answers we read and first in none. Asked where to buy personalised tumblers with delivery to Kuala Lumpur, a thing Montigo sells in 55 stores, Gemini names six gift shops, not Montigo Customs.
Montigo is on the first page of all four buying searches we read and first on none. 'tumbler malaysia', 480 searches a month at RM1.50 a click, opens with Google's AI answer naming Montigo, then Thermos's tumbler collection, then Montigo's homepage third. 'water bottle malaysia', 390 a month at RM1.58 a click, has the homepage seventh; 'insulated water bottle malaysia' has it 13th. Only the coffee-tumbler search, 40 a month at RM1.50 a click, returns a collection page, the Sense Coffee Cup page, fifth. Google also shows a row of ten products for 'tumbler': no Montigo page is on it; Thermos holds three of the ten slots, Hydro Flask two and Stanley two.
The tumbler page sells the Roamer from RM119 to RM169, yet for 'tumbler malaysia' and the two bottle searches Google shows the homepage instead. Of the 569 pages we crawled, 173 have too few words, 356 titles are too short, 251 pages have no description, and the homepage description names no product and no country.
Montigo has the reach: 55 stores and kiosks in Malaysia and five more in Singapore, 88,700 Instagram followers, about 65 active Meta ads, and Google's AI answer naming it on three of the four searches. Tyeso has no shop of its own, only Shopee, yet holds 348,500 TikTok followers to Montigo's 275,500, seven of the eight 2025 and 2026 brand-list mentions to Montigo's six, Gemini's first place for hot coffee, and a 'Roamer' tumbler from RM59.90 against Montigo's RM119 to RM169.
